Sinopsis

Condición del ejemplar: Good. Before WICKED was formed, before the Glade was built, before Thomas entered the Maze, the world was transformed by catastrophe. Sun flares struck the Earth without warning, scorching the land, melting ice caps and drowning cities, and killing much of the population. Mark and Trina, two teenagers who survived the disaster in New York, have escaped with a small group of friends and found a fragile new life in a settlement in the Appalachian Mountains, guided by former soldiers Alec and Lana. Then a mysterious craft appears in the sky and attacks the settlement with darts carrying a terrifying disease. The illness spreads quickly, driving its victims to madness and violence, and it seems to be mutating. Determined to protect Trina and the people he cares about, Mark sets out on a desperate journey to find a cure and uncover who is responsible, haunted by memories of the sun flares and by fears that the sickness may be taking hold of him too. A prequel to the Maze Runner series, The Kill Order reveals how the deadly Flare virus began and how the world of the Gladers came to be. Intense, action-packed and dark, it is essential reading for fans who want to know where it all started.
