Sinopsis

Condición del ejemplar: Good. Based on more than forty interviews with Steve Jobs conducted over two years, as well as conversations with more than a hundred family members, friends, colleagues, adversaries and competitors, Walter Isaacson’s biography is the definitive portrait of one of the great innovators of our age. Isaacson tells the story of a roller-coaster life and a famously intense personality. He follows Jobs from his adoption and childhood in California, through the founding of Apple in his parents’ garage, his ouster from the company he created, and the years at NeXT and Pixar, to his triumphant return to Apple and the creation of the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad. Along the way he shows how Jobs’s passion for perfection and his ferocious drive helped revolutionize six industries: personal computers, animated films, music, phones, tablet computing and digital publishing. Jobs cooperated with the book but asked for no control over its content, and the people Isaacson interviewed speak with remarkable candor about his brilliance, his demanding behavior and his vision. Published shortly after Jobs’s death in 2011, this is an unforgettable account of creativity, leadership and the intersection of technology and the arts.
